Dr. O’Brien-Coon is a Co-Founder, serves as Chairman and guides overall company development, clinical and business strategy, and R&D. He currently practices Plastic and Reconstructive surgery at Brigham and Women’s Hospital. He began his career at Johns Hopkins, where he specialized in microvascular reconstruction. Dr O’Brien-Coon also holds a master’s degree in biomedical engineering. He has published over fifty peer reviewed publications. He has received numerous awards, including the Ross H. Musgrave Award for Excellence in Plastic Surgery, is a two-time winner of the Plastic Surgery Foundation’s D. Ralph Millard award for best scientific plastic surgery manuscript and was named a 2013 Innovator of the Year by the Maryland Daily Record. He is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery.
