Devin O'Brien Coon, MD, MSE - President & Chief Medical Officer
Dr. O’Brien Coon is President and Chairman, guiding overall development and pre-clinical device testing. He is a surgeon at Johns Hopkins who also holds a master’s degree in biomedical engineering. He has published over thirty peer reviewed publications and serves as a reviewer for the journal of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. He has received numerous awards, including the Ross H. Musgrave Award for Excellence in Plastic Surgery, the Bert O'Malley Award for Best Scholarly Endeavor and is the only two time winner of the Plastic Surgery Foundation’s D. Ralph Millard award.
David Narrow - Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Narrow is Chief Executive Officer. He previously worked with multinational medical device companies to commercialize their technologies and provide long-term business strategy as a healthcare consultant at Health Advances LLC. He graduated from the University of Rochester with a B.S. in Biomedical Engineering awarded with Highest Distinction before receiving his Masters from Johns Hopkins University. Narrow was named 30 Under 30 in Healthcare by Forbes in 2016.
Harish P. Hiriyannaiah, PhD - Chief Technology Officer
Dr. Hiriyannaiah is Chief Technology Officer, guiding engineering and product development. He has been working in imaging and early vision for more than 25 years, including BrightField, DarkField (coherent source), Infrared, SEM, CT and Ultrasound, and he holds numerous patents in these fields. Previously, he successfully commercialized a point-of-care ultrasound as VP of Engineering at EaglEyeMed. Dr. Hiriyannaiah has worked in various capacities including imaging and machine vision algorithms analysis and development, high performance computing for imaging and early vision, hardware structures, systems design, product development, project management, product and project life cycle processes. He holds a B.S. in Electronics from Bangalore University, a M.S. in Computer Engineering and a PhD in Electrical Engineering from North Carolina State University.
Xin (Ben) Kang, PhD - Director of Research & Development
Dr. Xin (Ben) Kang is Director of Research and Development, overseeing research and product development in addition to invention and exploration of new projects. He has over 10 years of experience researching and innovating in the field of image-guided medical procedures and image analysis. Holding a PhD degree in biomedical engineering, he has published over forty peer reviewed publications. He also serves as a reviewer of several prestigious journals and committee member of international conferences. To recognize his excellence, he was selected as a IEEE-EKN Charter Member of Lambda Iota. He has received many awards, including the Best Paper Award in MICCAI Workshop on Clinical Image-based Procedures.
Gerry Buss, RAC - Director of Regulatory Affairs and Quality Assurance
Mr. Buss has over 25 years of experience in the medical device industry directing quality and regulatory affairs programs for global companies, including over 20 years with GE Healthcare. His experience includes the introduction of various medical devices to the international market (FDA 510(k)s, EU Technical Files, and International Submission Dossiers), including medical ultrasound. He also has more than 20 years’ experience with cross-functional, international teams (direct and crisis, team building and support roles) and as a lead auditor (ISO9001, ISO13485, MDD, cGMP, CMDCAS).
